O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! Such wonderful news! Hope the homecoming was amazing and that you get lots of continuing help as you make this big new transition in Eddie's care. Lots of smiles and cheering from all of us! Love you guys!
YAY!!!! This is really exciting news..and a BIG one... By now you'd all be settling in already and hope Eddie is sleeping quietly in the comfort of his own home. Hope all continues to go well.
Our family has been following Eddie's story since hearing about it at the school and we're so happy to hear that he's home! We saw him out for a walk this morning and it just made our day! We're cheering for you Eddie!!!
Walk is right . . . down the hill to CVE and then down to Main Street and all the way back up Stephens. All while pushing Eddie in his bike trailer which definitely wasn't made for "strolling" up Duvall hills. I'm going to feel it in the morning.
Our three year old son was in the backseat of the car as we drove past you. When we got home he ran in the house to make Eddie a card and picked out one of his Thomas trains to give him. He watched for an hour or so for you guys to walk back past Stella Street so he could give it to him. If it's okay, he'd be so happy to drop it off on your porch for Eddie!
So sad for us but so exciting for you guys. Sad I wasn't able to come by and say goodbye. Best of luck and be sure to come by and say hi when you are back for clinic.
JOY!!!! JOY!!!! JOY!!!!! We love you!!!

ReplyDeleteOh we'll be back! In fact, we have clinic tomorrow so we'll definitely swing by the ICU to say hello. Thanks for everything!
DeleteWell done Eddie and hey, a zillion amazing credits for the parents too, who not only went through this but, keep sane and sharing all these to people.
